You'd expect that a Ferrari replica from China, a country where the automotive industry has turned European and Japanese car cloning into a science, would at least be presentable. Because what you are seeing pictured above is just a computer-generated image of what the tuner hoped his modified Geely coupe would resemble. If your taste buds (and stomach) can handle it, click through to see the end result...

I actually find a lot of these backyard jobs quite interesting and amusing. They are harmless creations.

I have seen many previous attempts at making a Ferrari, Porsche, or Lamborghini lookalikes with varying levels of success. The Toyota MR2 was a favourite donor car of many creators of Ferrari Testarossa or 348, 355, Lamborghini Countach lookalikes.

Please do not view them as counterfeit Ferraris or Lamborghinis. They are just projects of guys who have the passion and skill to make something that comes close to their dream automobile. I applaud these guys!

Well I much prefer this than those people who 'customize' their expensive exotic cars into a pile of crap.

Great news for those who can't afford a real Enzo...:D

PS. I particularly like the 14 inch rims...

But I find it hard to respect the creative process of making a crap copy of a great car.
