The top speed on the SLR is wrong. It should be 337 Kph. Also the 0-100 kph is 3.6 sec not 3.8. 3.8 is for the regular SLR. The SLR 722 definately gets my vote. It may cost way more the Zr-1, but the SLR is not made out of plastic.
I'll take the Mercedes-Benz thank you The ZR-1 is a real serious track weapon but IMO the SLR trumps it in every other aspect.
Are u kidding? Hell with the roadster the 722 coupe is one of most menacing out there, not to mention it's a MB Marcus...wake up man
I pick the SLR but selling it immediately to replace it with a LP560 and M3 E90. I cant live with a SLR when I know I can afford something more tempting.
I voted for the same car with same idea, but I'd rather have a Lp-640 & a M5 in my parking! Coming back to the thread, if money is not an object, Chevy is not a replacement for Merc! :t-cheers:
I knew my choice of the "Chevy" would cause a raucous. I'm over the SLR coupe so unless its a roadster I'll take the "Chevrolet". Sorry fellow MB fans. M
I`d go for the SLR 722.. give me the droptop! the SLR 722 convertible might be one of the sexiest convertibles ever made! If price is no concern to you, than your most likely going to go all out for yourself with no compromises. If thats your aim, it doesn`t get any better than this!
Indeed Artist! The only droptop that can really compete with the SLR is the Ferrari 599 droptop. The design work of the rollbars and domes behind the seats is very heavy-handed, making the car look like a go Kart IMO. Not suitable of such a hi-priced car. It`s no way near as sleek and sexy as the SLR 722 droptop!
You are aware that a 599 droptop doesn't exist? :cwm1: The picture you posted is an artist's rendering of what it could look like.
Oh lOl, most likely it will come.. probably at the end of the cars`life cycle (but maby before that). Much like what Ferrari did with the 575... I`m pretty sure.... I found this article btw... Posts tagged Ferrari 599 convertible at Autoblog
Yes, we have a thread about that and I have no doubt there will be one. But my point was that you can't judge details such as design of rollbars when you don't really know what they will look like.
Marcus that is just unforgivable here at Mb headquarters lol Indeed bro,the 722s is by far the sexiest convertible on sale now and it has the performance to match the looks too,it doesn't get better than this IMO:bowdown::icondrool
