The current E83 X3 has done extremely well for BMW, although it is showing it's age it is still a formidable rival for the newcomers the Audi Q5 and the Mercedes-Benz GLK. Of course now we have the incoming BMW X1 and then a next generation BMW X3 which will no doubt convey controversy , But the new dynamic look to the X3 will herald a very much different and sportier car underneath with the X1 providing sustainability for the lower X models. The new X3 is aimning to be the sportiest and dynamic SAV in it's class. And yes the new model is a complete stunner and an about turn from Geoff Valesco's tough but taut design.
X3 was outdated the day it came it out. Besides being ugly as Hell. I like the rims but the whole design is just a triumph to bad styling. :eusa_doh:
It's on it's last legs now It is really awful especially the interior. Have the head lights different in anyway? Rims look good tho
but it does offer the comfort and chepness of being built using VERY mature technology. this, afterall, is all that remains from the E46.
i no it looks too old for the 21th century has to be updated fast because the x5 looks amazing and the x1 looks unique
