To be honest, it doesnt look bad.

The price for the Limited sport edition lies depending upon engine variant between 7,250 and 7,900 euros. By fascinating Agilität coined/shaped the driving experience in BMW the X3 becomes sportier in the Limited sport edition by the M sport package including M aero dynamic package, Chassis vote and 19 tariff large M light alloy wheels in the Y-spoke-Design, painted matt in the colour Kamacitgrau, as well as the speed-dependent power assist Servotronic additionally underlined. Beyond that xenon headlight with adaptive curve light, a headlamp wash/wipe system, a rain sensor, an M leather steering wheel with multi-function keys and an M shift lever belongs to the equipment extent of the Limited sport edition

It has Pirelli Rosso tyres! I thought that BMW was using Continental ones all over the line-up.

The current E83 X3 has done extremely well for BMW, although it is showing it's age it is still a formidable rival for the newcomers the Audi Q5 and the Mercedes-Benz GLK.

Of course now we have the incoming BMW X1 and then a next generation BMW X3 which will no doubt convey controversy , But the new dynamic look to the X3 will herald a very much different and sportier car underneath with the X1 providing sustainability for the lower X models.
The new X3 is aimning to be the sportiest and dynamic SAV in it's class.
And yes the new model is a complete stunner and an about turn from Geoff Valesco's tough but taut design.

X3 was outdated the day it came it out. Besides being ugly as Hell. I like the rims but the whole design is just a triumph to bad styling. :eusa_doh:

It doesn't look bad, but the X3's time has clearly passed.

but it does offer the comfort and chepness of being built using VERY mature technology. this, afterall, is all that remains from the E46.
