^Thats the problem with these events, entertaining to watch but it's hardly a accurate reflection of true life as we seldom know exactly what has been done to the cars and when we are it's all up to the honesty of the owner as to whether they tell us everything. Regardless of this I think a closer race would require a stock 1M vs stock TTRS, similar PTW and closer aero dynamics.
We will know soon enough. I spoke to Gustav and he is preparing a video for us right now Remember the race is from rolling start...
Very impressed with the F430 Scuderia and how it kept up with the Porsche 911 Turbo S. Just goes to show how much things change once you take out the launch.
Predictable results, M5 is definitely quicker at high speeds. It would be nice to see a standing start-acceleration to see how long the Panny TS can keep its advantage.
Yeah the M5 holds the upper hand in a rolling start though I was surprised how closely they were matched with the M5 only ever so slightly stretching its lead right to the limit. On the autobahn where you can tuck in behind and get some drag those two could race 50 miles and the gap would be no bigger.
The M5 is seriously quick... It's crazy. Audi really needs to do magic with the upcoming RS6. If they dont, Ill be god damn disapointed.
Regarding the RS6 video the M5 driver did an error at the start. There is another video coming later and the difference is larger. The race against CLS63 PP is much closer. Here is the video we been waiting for, m5 vs panamera turbo S:
