Some have asked if they can see the BMW 5er Gran Turismo development video again.


Interesting fact is that some of the faces have become familiar as they have designed recent models such as the F20 1er and 4er Coupe , 4er Concept , 3er , 3er Gran Turismo , i3 and i8 concepts , X1 , 5er GT (of course) and the 7er LCi.

As a bonus here is an in depth look at how a BMW is created from conception to production.

Watching that 5 GT development video, especially the first half where they compare numerous designs from a pool of designers.....it makes you wonder what the alternatives were for the new 1er for the final design to be chosen.

With the 5er GT I think they ended up with a good design for what it is and what it's design brief was, but the 1er.... I still wonder.
