BMW Active Hybrid 5.

When the new BMW 5er Sedan makes it's World Premiere at the Geneva Autoshow in March. BMW will also unveil a "Concept" Active Hybrid 5.
The BMW Active hybrid 5 will forgo the larger V8 as seen on the Active Hybrid 7 and Active Hybrid X6 and feature a 218PS six cylinder engine coupled with a 40PS electric motor.

Finished in Active Hybrid specific Bluewater metallic , The Concept will showcase additional aerodynamic aids such as lower ride height , more scuptured skirts and aerodynamically enhanced wheel covers aimed at lowering drag.

Concept Active Hybrid 5 will be a mirror to the Production car that will debut in late 2010.

Petrol or diesel?.

I bet it will have unattractive rims like the X6 active hybrid

Mild or active hybrid ?

Bluewater metallic will be beautiful on the F10. Can't wait to see this thing.

And it will be priced crazy like the active hybrid X6. I was at the BMW dealer last weekend and he mentioned that at the base price of almost $90k +taxes they will be lucky to sell couple of them in a year. This dealer is in a very high priced homes area. Go figure.
