autozeitung has released in their current issue the first part of their design trophy 2009. hussein al-attar did it again ! he won in the audi a6 category - huge applause ! i participated in the category opel gt, but didn't made it under the top 3. i'm unsure if its possible to post scans(in some forums its prohibited), there are some really nice winners in there!

The other two, Alex (Opel) and Marco (Alfa) are Friends of mine. I'm excited about the internship, it won't be as long like as the BMW internship, which was 3 months long, but as far as I know it will be in the advanced design studio, so that means more fun Again, Thanx for the comments and the congrats. I keep my fingers crossed ... Btw ... an interesting note find in the article: Karim A. Habib (F01 7-series exterior designer, CS Concept exterior designer) was obviously promoted to Head of BMW Advanced Design Studios. :eusa_clap KAH said both - the winner and the runner-up - will be invited in Munich. Also an interesting claim from the article: Karlheinz Bauer (Head of Daimler Passanger Car design) said the automotive design would again turn to more organic & round / curvy shapes / lines in the next years. Does that mean MB cars will be more rounded again in the future? :eusa_thin Just like Concepts F700 & BlueZero showcase ...
