    BMW 740i - Mercedes S 400 Hybrid | autozeitung.de

    result:

Mercedes S 400 hybrid is the winner of this comparison test. It is economically, very roomy and clearly more comfortable than the BMW, that is handicaped by a more uncomfortable suspension. Who decides nevertheless for the 740i, however nothing makes wrong - he buys the more dynamic, luxury sedan with mark-typical driving fun warranty, motorized noticeably more strongly in addition.

Really great cars. Sounds like an each to his or her own outcome...

I absolutely love the interior of the seven.

Both cars are awesome. Love the new 7-Series.

Both cars look great, but the S-class...amazing as always. The complete package of what a luxury car should be about. I like the 7 series interior, but the S-class looks a lot more classier.

Yes, it is untouchable, if it is an S-class you are after.

Dunkel, I bet your driving an S-class now. Probably got a Mercedes-benz starter kit at home. ;)

    Lol Will do.

BTW...Does anyone know if BMW is having any special "driving events" planned for the US for the new 7 series?

Hellu, of course the Benz is more economically. BMW engine is much stronger and also much quicker.
  13. HighestOfHigh Contributing Member

Probably will be a better comparison once BMW releases the 7 series hybrid.

    BTW, what does Hellu mean?;)

Fair and unbiased test from Auto Zeitung as usual. (y) I rate them much higher than Auto Motor und Sport or AutoBild.
