Down in Australia, the HSV GTS, aka VXR8 is selling for about half the price of the C63, not to mention its dimensions are more similar to the E-class. It is also interesting to read the driving experience of the VXR, the review is completely opposite to what the local journalists have said, perhaps this isn't a surprise.
What in Marco Polo's sake have they done to the front and rear of that Commodore!!??!! That thing is all sorts of hideous with that hyper-exaggerated look-at-moi design language. I was able to design better looking car fronts and rears when I was 14yrs old and got bored in class! I was a HSV fan....but this is..... painful to look at, especially when the donor-Commodore has excellent proportions and stance. R.I.P. HSV GTS.
The face lifted bodykits looks better in real life, if that helps. The original VE version was just right, restrained aggression But HSV just couldn't help itself and went back to its old ways of over designed bodykits.
