It is interesting to read some of the reviews on the FL Turbo. It seems as the model is moving away from being a comfort cruiser...
Something's amiss. This is not a Porsche 911 twin-turbo engine. This is the McLaren-TAG Porsche-engineered twin-turbo engine that powered McLaren Formula One cars from 1984-1987. It was a championship winning engine that, to my knowledge, has nothing to do with a 911 turbo. This is a V6 twin turbo - it wouldn't even fit in the back of a 911 - a not a flat-six turbo a la 911 turbo tradition.
Nice post, 911 really is a timeless beauty with no compromises on reliability & performance! My favorite 911 is the 996-Gt2!
