I am betting the 911 killed them all in acceleration tests, at least up to 100kmh.

10 years ago not many cars did 0-100km/h below 4 seconds. Funny, today 'every' sportscars is doing this. Its called progess.

of course this is for sure, why not?

Now a few are routinely breaking the 3 second barrier. Veyron started it all (production form at least), but now 'plebean' 911 Turbos do it with no fuss at all ;)

Sport Auto Supertest - Cornering and handling

    • Max. lateral acc.: 1,35 g :)usa7uh:)
    • 18 m slalom: 69,6 km/h
    • 36 m slalom: 136 km/h
    • 110 m evasive test: 150 km/h
    • wet handling track: 1:31.5 min.
Not much difference between ESP ON and OFF.
AMS (ESP ON) and Sport Auto (ESP OFF) 18 m slalom and 110 m evasive speeds are nearly identical.

    Simple conclusion:
SLR is a little faster in a straight line but SLS pulls better in gears and handles way better.
