ACTIVATE THE FUTURE BMW 1er Coupe ActiveE In just 7 days BMW will roll out the production vehicle for the BMW Electric mobility evaluation programme. Having had international success with the MINI E programme in the US,UK, Germany and China. BMW roll out the first electric modern BMW in the shape of the 1er Coupe. Using feedback from the MINI E programme BMW have made gains in progressing it's plans for electric mobility. All Roads lead to one car and that is the series MegaCity Vehicle. Following the MINI E, the BMW 1er Coupe ActiveE will also be leased to everyday customers for the evaluation period. The trials begin in the USA later this year. BMW have set up an "Testers forum" that will allow owners and non-owners to give immediate feedback , discuss points of view with other owners and allow immediate feedback to the analysis group in Munich. BMW will also introduce an "App" called "BMW EV Mobile Application" which will allow non EV drivers to make an informed decision on whether the BMW 1er Coupe ActiveE is within their requirements. The BMW 1er Coupe ActiveE will make it's World Public Premiere at the Geneva Salon in March. The BMW 1er Coupe ActiveE demonstrates , for more than eight decades, BMW have been building vehicles that are uncompromised, authentic and exhilarating to drive now more so with electric mobility.
I must say that I have not been keeping up with the 1:er Active. Is this the same model that has been showed since about a year? If so, great to see it in production!
