Rear Shots Vermillion Red-650i Coupe-Sport Pack A few rear and rear quarter panel shots. The red one disappeared before I could get some closeups.Thanks. PalBay
It's actually Imola Red which kind of looks like Vermillion Red in poor lighting conditions. Vermillion Red is not offered with the M-Sport Packet.
Its either going to be a 6-Series or an RS5 for me. I need to see the convertible w/M-Pack vs the Coupe, coupe looks better so far. Audi needs to have the RS5 here by next spring. M
I just configured one, using just the M-Pack and some other very minor other Options (LED lights, heated seats), and it came out to $87K, yikes! A little overprice IMO, but I'd rather have it over that Panamera that I test drove with a V6 and minor options for $86K!
Oops....should have brought my color chart w/ me!! It was very dark...almost raining with both the white and red 650i. Thanks. PalBay
WOW man, only an american can say this. 87K would be extremely competitive price here. You luky guys.
To be able to afford a 650i with M package in sweden you need to pay be a millionaire. And I dont think you need to be that in US to buy a 650i? Right?
Lol, damn, I totally forgot about that. In the U.S you definitely don't have to be a Millionare to afford a $100K car. Responsibly speaking, you probably should be, but that isn't usually the case.
Fix assets like houses and cars are way cheaper in the U.S than in Europe. When I see the prices of the house in Washington, or even in California, where prices are higher than in other US states, I see mansions for the price a "good" flat has here. I really like the silver 6er M BTW, it looks like a true shark.
From the photos, it seems as if the US version of Mpackage on the new coupe does not sport Shadowline around the windows, even though exhaust tips are dark... ?
Yep, in the U.S. our government believes we should all have houses and certainly expensive cars. If you cant afford it, our current government will have others who can pay for it. BUt I digress, I just received this from my BMW dealer, Congratulations. It is a 4000lb boy, born today in Germany". My MSRP is right below $105k with everything. The only issue is now waiting until the offical launc date of early october so all U.S. dealers can have their launch car, which at my dealer is mine!! I agree we have been lucky in pricing in the U.S., but who know what the future brings.
Texas Redfish, Congratulations on your new car. Don't get too fired up yet. Mine's been done almost two weeks, and has sat at the port for over a week. My dealer has tried repeatedly to get them to give me an idea of when it will ship out, and when it will arrive here. Not a shipping schedule confirmation, even. It is not clear if BMWUSA is staging a big launch date/event, or what. But there is a big difference between your car being "born" and its being here...
Did your dealer say anything about when the convertible will get the M-pack and the LED headlights options? I bet you got the B&O sound system too didn't you? M
Yep, I dropped $5500 on the B&O system. I know it will be a waste but I am curious. It would be the option I would drop first. I never did ask the dealer about the convertible and M-Sport pkg, given I had no interest in it. I did see and sit in it before I ordered. It was really beautiful, but I have a Mustang GT/CS Convertible for play time, so I wanted the coupe. I had a 1987 M6 and have been a BMW fan ever since, however I did buy a few Lexuses along the way when the BMW dealers in Houston proved they were incompetent. However my current 2008 750i has had the least amount of shop time. I looked at at the previous 6 series and I HATED the bangle butt. SO now that we are back to a classic BMW look in the 6, I am back. Can't wait until October when I will have one of the first 650i coupes!
I ordered the B&O system, too. Kind of at crossed purposes in that considerable sound-proofing is done in a car with this kind of audio system...and an engine I want to listen to.
