Love the Cayman and this looks promising. IMO the rear side view is the weakest point of the current design and it looks like that area will see the greatest change. I also thought it was a mistake not to include a sunroof or targa option, I wonder if that will be in the cards?

    Agree with you! (y)
I hope they will make it more proportional this time..

    Finally...

BTW: Side view? Proportional? I love every inch of my car (except the - fugly but useful - rear wiper :D).

Didn't mean to offend Pekka, big fan of the car, just not a fan of the hatch line in side view (taking the blend line further back or lowering the current one would work better IMHO). 3/4 front or rear and all other views are wonderful!

Your car sure is beautiful, thanks for the pictures. And I trust, more importantly, a ton of fun!

No worries, Rurella. Got your point. It's just my personal opinion - one's own childs are always the prettiest. ;)

I don't see a difference from this, and the current model it looks absolutely the same.

The rear hatch looks like it blends further back into the rear of the car or has been changed in some other way (more 911 looking). Note the glass in the hatch area on this mule compared with the current one?

Looking good! The rear end looks "taller", blending much better in side profile.

Yes... The differences are becoming more apparent. The rear will look a whole lot better on this one.

Looks like a reptile. Let's pray it gets the engines it deserves. The wer in the 987 based Cayman is bait on the sissy side for such a perfectly engineered mid engine car.

    Hence the name Cayman.:)

Don't get your hopes too high. According to the C&D and inside line articles about the 911 preview they got. Both base Carrera and Boxster S share the same 3.4l DI engine with 350HP for Carrera. So Boxster S/Cayman S will probably be limited to 320HP.

If the last set of spyshots above are any indication, we may have a a fantastic looking car to look forward to, way way better looking than the current generation.

That looks really good. IMHO - directly side on, it looks almost Ferrari like, esp the rear half.
