Of all the cars in the Audi stable it's the A4 that needs a facelift the most. S-models aside, it's the most "repmobile" of the three premium compact sedan competitors. I sincerely hope that they jack up the quality of the multi-faceplate centre console and lightweight brittle plastics in the interior.
I agree. Changing the layout of the A6 interior to A8-style was a huge improvement. Perhaps they will do the same for the A4?
I wish but I also doubt it. Not for a facelift. Not even B7 (a highly comprehensive makeover) got a new dash.
Yes, I guess you're correct. This facelift will be roughly the same as the A5 facelift? which also used the same dash as the pre-FL. The best we can hope for is increased quality of materials.
The interior will be no different from the A5 range,if you like that,then A4 won't dissapoint in terms of aesthics,and quality build.

I think the A4 might be the best looking car in its Class IMO. The W204 I think really wears the crown, but the A4 has grown on me extremely well.
Given beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder I can't help asking: Are you serious K-A!? The W204 is extremely good looking and so is the new C-coupe in the flesh, the E90 3er was honestly never my favourite design (forget fanboy / anti-Audi) the A4 is just the most boring design ever from Ingolstadt.
I dunno why, but I have gone from seeing it as being from a cheap looking Kia clone, to just a really nice, clean, and German design. I don't think it has near the presence of the W204, nor is it as interesting or well executed a design IMO, but being that I'm a little spoiled in having a W212, which is basically a family member of the W204 but superior, something about the A4 just grabs me lately.
Oh my god!!! that is AMAZING what the hell?? It came as a total surprise to me.. that looks like the kick as dark red concept car from geneva.. BMW better have a good looking 3er..cause this is cream with cherries!!! Now it feels like the C class is old ( and it is..its on its last 2 years) PS What happened to the previous generations RS4?? did they axe that? If so then i really hope they bring back the RS4 for this model..the design deserves RS!!!
