LOL........I'm getting up off the floor now!

This is going to be the must have come summer 2011. The coupe will take that spot for next spring/summer 2010.

Old Article Sunny, why bother? Obviously we know there is going to be a SLS roadster now.

It is just a little more than a month old. Funny thing is we had seen spy shots of the convertible even before that so I have no idea why he said that. Other interesting thing is, it is the convertible version of the original gullwing that became the SL. So I wonder what will happen to uber versions of new SL like SL65 if there is a new SLS convertible.

    Maybe it's a targa and not a soft-top cabriolet.

That would be both cool and relieve the car from some of the squareness of the roof.

Don't think much will happen given that both cars are so different in character. One is the sports car and the other one is a comfortable luxury glider. The average 60 year old you see driving an SL would unlikely be comfortable in the sardin can-like cabin of the SLS. Ferrari California is the ultimate SL65 killer. Not only is it slight more practical but it will retain its value better than the SL65 which depreciates a staggering 40% in the first year.
