Will have 544 PS (400 kW/ 536 hp) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque According to a recent report, the 2012 Mercedes CLS 63 AMG will be unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show. As previous spy photos have shown, the redesigned model will feature an aggressive front fascia, LED daytime running lights, a four-tailpipe exhaust system, and AMG wheels. Power will be provided by a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine with 544 PS (400 kW/ 536 hp) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. It will be connected to a 7-speed Speedshift MCT transmission which should enable the CLS 63 AMG to accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than 4.3 seconds. If that isn't fast enough, Mercedes will likely offer an AMG Performance Package which will increase output to 571 PS (420 kW / 563 hp). As always, stay tuned to WCF for full coverage of the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show Read more: 2012 Mercedes CLS 63 AMG will debut in LA - report
Man, I can wait to see this.. Rumer has it that HammerI (the light turbo pressure M157 )fitted to the CLS63 will get less power than 536, according to Road&Track magazine. I believe it will be more like 525hp.
