    They say they can have it out for around 50K. If they TRULY can, I have my doubts, this is a better deal than the Volt.

    50K out includes $7,500 US federal tax credit. By the time Telsa Model S become widely available in 2012, the price on Volt would not last.

    A lot of Maserati & Opel there, and it looks nice, who designed it ? Not Fisker i guess, btw is that a concept or a production ready vehicule ?

    I'm more interested in the technical aspects, and how they're able to get 300 miles from a single charge.

    Agreed Tesla does show some Maserati design elements. Now Tesla is opening its new headquarter in Palo Alto California near Stanford. It would be interesting to see Tesla's future offering with best mind in research and development.

    There is a section from Tesla described how it works. It seems Tesla will be the leader in the battery design, even the Smart ForTwo Electric Drive would share such battery technology from Tesla.
