I agree the times are changing, but the formula for making a good drivers car remains the same, the M5 has been on top for a long time and there is a good reason for that and it isn't just speed.

Say hello to a Porsche panamera facelift next year. Bye bye M5

Say hello to some theoretic M5 CRT. Bye bye Panamera Turbo S facelift.

But this is just stupid talk of course. Panamera Turbo S will be the fastest, and for me an M5 is about 10,000 times as hot.

Yes but the F10 has been widely criticized for doing away with that classic BMW driving feel, in an effort to gain Mercedes and Lexus market share by going softer and more detached from the road. It will be interesting to see if the F10 M5 will be more "F10" or more "M5".

^^ could you please stop spouting utter nonsense?

Lets keep it ontopic for the sake of it. We all know your insecurities regarding your taxi by now.

LOL Klier that is not nice man :D

We should get back on topic, but to be factual about the comments made by K-A regarding the F10 - it's suspension engineering especially the adaption of a double wishbone up front and the carry-over of the basic rear axle design does not by any means apply that the F10 is not a true sharp handling BMW!
The facts are Adaptive Suspension options i.e. Sport, Sport+, Comfort makes the damping more refined and without the Adaptive options the basic spring and damper rates were tweaked to be a bit more compliant and still does not imply that the F10 has lost all if any of it's BMW driving pleasures. I drove a normal 523i and the ride was firm, planted and the steering feedback feel better that that of my X6 M's steering feedback.;)

Back to the Panamera then - in a comparison test between the Panny and M5 - that will happen soon - Klier and myself will be proven correct.

I foresee the outcome of such a comparisons to be the same as the Panny Diesel vs BMW 535d:D:t-cheers: "535d humbles Porsche Panamera"

LOL. That's funny. How is you bringing my beautiful car into this topic, on topic? And how is my comment on the F10 being softer than the 5'er before it off topic, and how is my comment on the M5 being either more driver oriented or non driver oriented than the Panny off topic, please, I'm all ears.

Your jealousy of my car is flattering though, I must say, as you can't seem to get enough of bringing it up (I don't blame you ;)).

Klier, KA is right. Going to be interesting how good the new M5 really is. It gained weight and comfort compare to last generation. Im sure its fast and handle good but can it involve the driver like before.

Love the drift at the end of that video :)

I believe that is the first 4door AWD car I see that drifts like a real RWD car ..

Absolutley. And there is more to come. Let's hope they'll produce an insane GTS version that would even frighten a Bugatti Galibier. The performance of this car is not maxed out yet.

^Ahh GTS i wont be able to deal with it..
    This is already mouth watering:

"Honey, does this Porsche make my bum look fat?"

"Yes dear, yes it does... but at least you'll be going so fast they won't have time to notice."

Saw a few white ones out last night, on rims, and tinted windows, and yes please. I think this car would very well be on my radar if I were to give up my E. Panamera S would be fine. :)

Oh that is hot. Sometimes I can catch the masterful ability of Porsche to have seriously captured the 911's essence and put it into a 4-Door car. That Video is one of those time.
