    That looks utter ****!!

Whats the point of a chop like that when it's not even realistic?

    Re: CGI of next A-class

Well, never-the-less I think we will be seeing some design cues from the F500 in future Merc's, just don't know which ones. Perhaps the next CLK??
I don't particularly care for the gaping hole in the front bumper or the way they did the arches, but the lights and grill look nice.

I really don't understand why people are doing CGI's of next generations of almost brand new cars on the market. It's above my understanding! Damn!

    Re: CGI of next A-class

It's easy. They try to sell more and in order to do that they want to get people's attention. And what better way to get someone's attention than to show how the next model of his brand new car is supposed to look like in 5 years from now?:D

Horrible. Thank God it's a computer generated image. I hope to God the next A won't look like this!

I really like this, looks aggressive at the front, the side profile looks horrid, but can be changed!

So when did the A class come out, like last year?

I guess so too, although the A-Class is still a very appealing car and basically I've heard not to many complaints about it. But a facelift is always good. (y)

    The Next A Class

Looks good to me, better than the current platform, and if this is the case probably will be rear drive and sanwich platform. Would make sense since the end of the merger too.

Re: Next Generation A Class CGI

A good CGI, although we can't say how much truth is in it. With those Chrysler Sebring front lights it isn't able to challenge 1 series or A3 in looks. The current A-Class has sold good so I doubt they will change strategy. I believe the next one will also be FWD. The A-Class actually has an own segment that has a lot potential customers so I don't think they will want to enter the A3/1er segment which has much more competition.

Re: Next Generation A Class CGI

The A-Klasse has become such a European staple, I highly doubt that the next incarnation will be an entirely different platform. If anything, the car pictured here would be a "BLK" - since room has been made via the larger C-Klasse for a "normal" vehicle that spans below its, um... poverty line.

Would be a good product for Europe. Won't say the same for the US.
