I would assume the 140 TDI 4motion, will be cheaper to insure than a GTD ;)
Wait for the MK7 James... save up some money and be the first in your contry owning a
MK7^^ How cools is that ?!! :D Golf and resale value isn't normaly an issue because
it's a Golf but I have a feeling the MK6 will "die" much faster than the other MK's because
it's practically a Golf MK5 1/2 ...eitherway Good luck, golf is hot! :D

Well, I have visited your profile, saw you were 16 and then I forgot it. And yes, I judged it from your posts :D And, I wrote my own age wrong, I'm 13, this summer 14...
I lived my three first years here in Finland and then lived four years in England and moved back. Enjoyed it there though.

I'm well thanks, nice when people contact me [IMG] I've lived in England as well, in Reading Berkshire that is. To be honest I thought you we're like 30 or something o_O Oh and BTW, I'm 14, not 16 [IMG]

      Hi James.

      My tip.
You want a Golf ? brand new ? or secondhand-new? ;) either way very Nice and wise choice!

The Golf MK6 GTD is a very refined car, its so grown up and feels very compact.
I don't have much negative to say about the GTD and now you can order them with sportsdifferecial
      from the GTI ++.
Of course the MK7 will be even better but can you afford one ?

      but
      Buy the 140 TDI 4Motion ;)

Hi there. I just wanted to rather belatedly say thank you for the Birthday greeting. I don't usually look at my profile page! Thanks again :^).

yes. It is not one of my best habits.. but, I when I get into something.. I really get into something. Infact if it wasn't for my level of pure obsession I don't think I'd have a good financial future XD. Its because of my obsession with computers I plan on staying in college and getting a degree to be a programmer/systems analyst or whatever interest me in the long run :D. Going for a masters so naturally once my career is launched it will be an all out blood bath :D. Doing my best to show I am the best, fighting for raises and bonus's and all of that :D. If it weren't for my obsessive nature I'd never get anywhere (or anything) at all XD.

I have had a few convertibles in my life time and i few hardtops. ( Family and Sport ) I guess what i was trying to say is the sebring is a good car from the factory. And a very easy car to improve on.

Hey James! I see there's someone who actually missed me. lol! I've been away for a long time. Private stuff mostly. I'll try to be more active on the forum from now on. Btw, the previous avatar was a white Carrera GT. :)

Sup, James! This thing is hard to use! x
    11. DaSilva
      Hehe, very true James... :)
I have infact "driven" the 3.0T but that was only 10 meters.. inside the the dealer at speeds that can't even be called speed. =(
Such an engine isn't what you would call a normal car so the company dosn't own one, only wealthy customers buy then, but
then agian we aren't allowed to drive them, but they will come back to us at somepoint "seconhand" then I'll be lucky enough to
      try it... !!!!
    12. DaSilva
That's almost an affordable pricetag!! =D
but running costs pr. year is quite a bit too.. only the fuel + ensurance will kill you... instantly!

lalalala... I have no plans, at the moment I drive different companycars ....
      Golf, A3, A4, A6, Q5, ++

But I am still waiting on that A4 quattro cabrio, but the A5 Cab need to come to Norway frist so the prices can drop... !
    13. DaSilva
I am afraid I have... =( but it was with the Smart BRABUS the most fun car I've ever had, I remember driving on the snowiest roads in Winterland/Norway screaming quattro... quattro quattro!!!, everytime I was driving around some corners! Quattro = Heaven!

But you gotta earn some cash frome time to time so you finally in the end can purchase a Lambo!
      =D

      Car sold but not forgotten!!!

Damn…thought the links could work! Well, they were nothing special! Well, just visit Mercedes homepage and search for some nics CLKs. :usa7uh:

Before becoming "offt-topic" in the picture thread!!

Definitely one of my dream cars!! The C209!! And you are right - the 5.5 litre V8 with 388 hp is stunning!!! And they are "cheap" - especially on the used market! But I would ever go for a 320 CDI! The perfect car for travelling long distances - and at the moment, if I would have a car and the money, I would travelling around 650 km for one trip… :D …so a diesel is the right choose for me…! I definitely hope, that my dream come true, and I'm able to drive one of these cars…

      just an example:

Mercedes-Benz | Finden Sie Ihr Gebrauchtfahrzeug

CLK 550 with 19.000 km for "just" 40.000!

      or this one!

a CLK 320 CDI with 70.000 (nothing for a modern diesel) for just 27.000 €
And this one already has the sportpackage!

      Good evening James!! :D

I've been moderator since May 2008! But only for Mercedes section and some "standard" threads - so no Super-Moderator.

Life is just perfect at the moment. Have to write some exams next week and then 2 month without university…but I have to rework some lectures. But nevertheless I'm going enjoy this time a lot…with my girlfriend, old friends etc. I've already planned to visit some cities like Hamburg. And I can't wait to visit our Merc-dealer in Hanover. :D

Well, how is your life at the moment?! Everything well and almost perfect!?! I hope so!

      best regards,

      Ihno

      Hello James.
=D Thanks for those words about my Avatar & PP.

      I am a role model? ^^ I feel honored! Really :)

Take care you're self and go get a hot chick ;D

BTW I did check the A5 white / read leather combo, it dosen't work for the moment :O(
I don't know what it is, but I know here in Norway you will be able to order that combo!

Just talk to you're local dealer when you've got the money I am sure they will
be able to make you're wish come true!
