      Monster,

      I appreciate your efforts to be a good mod, but please also note that my post was on topic. It was about shared platforms. I specifically mentioned the CLS in my thread, and only brought up the E, because it was already being discussed in the thread.

      Just missed your last entry. :eusa_doh:

      As it turned out now, we will keep the E-Class for another year. Lease will end in December 2010 then. The 280 CDI will have about 180.000 km on the clock then.

      Hadn't really spring this year. Well, of course we had spring with temperatures about 15°, but the time flies like hell - two month and we are in 2010. Can't believe it.

      The Temperature is about 5 - 11° at the moment though, and in the north of germany friends of mine saw the first snow yesterday. :eusa_thin

      We have to change summer to winter tyres soon…also it is already done at our 11 year old Renault Scenic. :usa7uh:

      Would love to visit Australia once in my life - but at the moment I'm to busy. Will start a internship on December, 1st and will last for 3 month!

      You are more than welcome to visit me in Sydney :D, you can get 2 months straight of sun shine and clear sky. How is spring and summer over in Germany?

      Our E 350's mileage is very low considering it is turning 4 years old pretty soon. It shares its work load with the Subaru Liberty, and that car has done about 36 000 km in 3 years.

      Are you guys going to keep going with your W211 or replace it with the W212, how does the prices and specs of the W212 compare to the W211 in Germany?

      We already have around 130.000 km on the clock now! :usa7uh: After just 3 years…

      …well nevertheless the weather over in Australia sounds great. Maybe I should come to visit you!

      Today it is foggy, wet and uncomfortable here in the north east of germany! Terrible…I want to see the sun again…and want to lounge in the sun! :eusa_danc But 40° is a bit hot though! Well, I hope that the weather and temperature will increase in the mid of April again - like last year!! :usa7uh:
