| Also, due to the EU Regs (I'll guess, as it certainly does not look good), those nasty clamshell shutlines, just ungraceful, and hurt the side profile of the car.

I'm not sure whether what you have been talking about regarding design and EU regulations is true or not. Just wait for the BMW 6er to see how it can be done as well Also, the clamshell shutlines have nothing to do with EU regulations either, it's just a chosen design by Mercedes. The new Bimmers do not have any clamshell shutlines.

| I wish M-B wouldn't choose to put such a relatively large gapped opening harshly going down their fenders, i.e clamshell shutline, lol.

| The clam shell shutline has been my biggest problem with both the C and the E. There are ways to disguise the shutline, which BMW does effectively. I don't have a problem with having the shutline as part of the design, but MB needs to make the gap smaller. That shutline is way too wide. what I have noticed is, that on more recent Cs and Es the shutline seems to be smaller. I don't know if that is part of production tweaks or what.

| I think it's just only so tight they can get that space. I have heard some owners, etc. haven't been latching the hoods right, so some E's and C's driving around look like there's a 2 inch gap between the fender and hood. Artist, will do when I wake up. Surprised you can't notice it? Unless I'm just seeing things, I see a very distinct line going upwards toward the fender, opposite swish of what that recent PS showed. Look at that pic of the CLS in the wind tunnel, that one looks to be the real line to me, upwards from the hump to the headlight tip.

| I don't know if my point comes across but I have tried. Mind you, I'm, as always, using Paint as my modding tool.

| I removed about 10 cm of hunch on the nose, making it a bit moe "light".

| Huck's impression is the closest to the real car. The headlights in Theo's rendering are a bit overdone, concerning their overall shape. He has probably beem misled by the fact that the prototypes feature further camo tape on a part of the headlights to not reveal the overall shape of them.
