| MB - Bring back the quality and color Curious how many ppl wish they brought back a greater variety of interior colors, like the classic Navy Blue. I am sick of the standard, grey, black or beige. ![]() |

| Re: MB - Bring back the quality and color There was a interior color called Palamino Tan, hated it then...seems classic now. ![]() My favorite exterior color ever from Mercedes was called "Desert Taupe". It looked particularly good on the W124 E500/500 models and on the W140. M

| Re: MB - Bring back the quality and color At the beginning of the W211 production, you could order such a blue interior! But most people went for black and beige, so they cancelled the option… ![]()

| Re: MB - Bring back the quality and color In Germany they sometimes have a huge lot of colors, that even the rest of Europe doesn't get. I saw some W203 with such a blue interior. It was ugly as hell (if not worse). Blue doesn't suit these modern, soft interiors I find. Even the grey interior is quite rare. Everybody takes all-black, don't ask me why. Even the somptuous burgundy interior of the CLS is extremely rare... Too bad, 'cause I'd love to see more colours (interior and exterior) than the grey or black with black interior.

| Re: MB - Bring back the quality and color Blue interiors used to be the most popular color choice in Europe. They were offered in the US in the eighties and early 90's by Volvo especially. We have an 86 240, and it is a blue cloth interior. Blue is just not very popular in the US and has lost its popularity in Europe as well.

| Re: MB - Bring back the quality and color Ah yes the blue interiors of yore... I rather like the blue interiors. I seem to remember a particular white 300TE service wagon that my dad drove around. Then there was the 560SEL with a red interior. The exterior was that eggshell color. Didn't really care for that. I don't think it was limited to German cars though. I remember my aunt had an 80s Accord with a blue interior. |

| Re: MB - Bring back the quality and color Navy was a classic best with white exterior...as was maroon interior with a smoke silver outside...they need to bring in back, maybe with the new e class. |

| Re: MB - Bring back the quality and color Yikes... That sounds gross. Though I have seen a W124 that was forest green with green leather. Don't think I could get past that. Especially when beige or gray goes so much better with dark green. Mercedes in particular used to be highly customizable. I suspect that it was very expensive to have so many choices which probably explains why these options no longer exist. Are cloth seats available in Europe on new Mercs still? |

| Re: MB - Bring back the quality and color Of course they are still available! Leather is an option, even for the S-Class! SL (only 550 and 600 - not 280 and 350) and CL are the only Mercedes with leather as standard here in germany…leather costs around 1.500 € to 5.000 or 6.000 for the Full leather S-Class interior… …and you can only get them with seat heating!

Yes I remember those as well, seems all 300TE service wagons were White/Blue. M

| Re: MB - Bring back the quality and color Sorry if i go off topic, but am a fan of interiors. This picture below of W140 shows the quality that needs to come back, but unlikely with situation in the autoindustry. ![]() |
