You all know me, BIG Mercedes-Benz fan here so I took a ton of shots in this section. Mercedes actually had a lot of new models to display so my taking a ton of pictures here was pretty justified. I'm going to do something different here and actually include the car name a description about it and then the photos.



First things first: the new SL

SL350: When I first saw the photos of the new SL I was disgusted by the new front. I thought that maybe if I saw the thing in real life my negative opinon would perhaps change. Nope. Seeing the car in person really showed me just how ugly this thing has become. Everything about the car is actually perfect. The rear, the interior and the side profile - until you get to the headlights. The new front is hideous. Hideous! Who the heck gave the go-ahead for this?







GLK Hybrid Concept: The GLK looks AWESOME. It doesn't look offensive at all and the design brings back elements of 1980s MB styling cues. Think of it as a retro W124 molded into a small SUV.









SL63 AMG: As with the regular SL, the new headlights look grossly out of place on this thing. It does blend in better with the AMG appearance but it is still hideous in my personal opinion. Still, people were fascinated by the car as you can see. Check out the rapid succession shots of the roof opening!

SLK (facelift): Overall the SLK hasn't changed much except for the new front bumper - which IRL looks fine.







CLS (facelift): In press photos of this car I was bothered by the new mirror design. Scratch that, they look really good upclose. I take back everything I ever said about them! The blonde behind the wheel looked cuter in real life too!




CL500 4Matic: The name says it all. A CL with the 5.4-l V8 and AWD. A welcome addition I imagine...

McLaren Mercedes SLR Convertible






CLC350: Wow! The CLC looks awesome in person. It's still a simple car design wise but the new rear and headlights make a big difference. It definitely looks sportier than the outgoing CL203 Sportcoupe. The interior is pretty much a facelifted W203 C-Class interior which means it is pretty good, not class leading but good and well made.







CLC220 CDI




B200 Turbo: I'm not crazy about the B-Class but the B200 Turbo with some proper rims looks pretty awesome, like this one.




C180 Kompressor "White Star": I love the new C-Class and I love it even more in white. The AMG body kit and rims take it to a whole other level of visual sportiness.




C220 CDI Bluetec



C-Class Blue Efficiency Model and Blue Efficiency 4-cylinder engine




C320 CDI T-Modell




E300 Bluetec




E350 CGI T-Modell: CGI means direct injection and thus the 3.5-l V6 gets a much needed power boost while fuel efficiency should theoretically improve.




CLK280 "AMG": Still looking good after all those years, especially in white and with an AMG appearance package!







GL320 CDI 4Matic



G55 AMG and with the name of the man who built the engine.





ML420 CDI




R500 4Matic: I never thought the R-Class could look this good. I was actually drawn to this thing! I don't know what did it for me; the AMG body kit or the white color...





S600 Designo (off limits to mortals...)



Viano 3.0 V6 CDI: Most people outside of Europe don't know that Mercedes' has minivans for sale here. The Viano is the luxury version of the commercial Vito van. It was never really offered with great engines until now: Mercedes is offering the 3.0 V6 CDI under the hood for the first time meaning the Viano will be zippy and efficient.

Sorry about the SL, I just don't find the headlights attractive. They look "ok" on the SL63 AMG however, but on the regular SL they just bother me. No offense.
