| Re: New Caddillac Escalade :( Dear lord... things are going from bad to worse for you Americans. What a boring design. I'm gonna be visiting LA in just over a month,..and i'm already not looking forward to all these dull looking American cars..and even worse, seeing all those pimped and riced-out cars. Oh, how will I survive.?? ![]()

| Re: New Caddillac Escalade :( I agree, the grille looks great like that, so that's a big improvement there i guess. But as for the shape of those front lights, I'm sure they wouldn't look too out of place at the rear of the car. Also, you can see just how much space they've left above the tires ...I wonder why ?? ![]()

| Re: New Caddillac Escalade :( Well i must say that i disagree with most of u guys, i actually like the way it looks, clean and simple, no complications to it. It might not be the best design i`ve seen but i cant see a bad thing about it, looks good The interoir is an improvment as u guys said, i could never figure out why they couldnt of done this a long time ago. |

And The Artist, what do you not like about the instrument cluster? I personally think it's one of the best in the market - simple, clean and easy to read. Nothing wrong with that. | |

| Re: New Caddillac Escalade :( The interior is nothing special at even most japanese cars have this type of interioer. I don't have any problems with the design of the car since I like big SUV. The car is an improvement but it is far from as good as SUV like RR sport and the new ML. The German companies are light years ahead of GM in term of quality and technology. |

| Re: New Cadillac Escalade :( Actually i like the new Escalade, looks just as good if not better than the current, as for the cluster it is so ugly and bland, very boring.... The grill is kick ass! ![]() ![]()

| Re: New Cadillac Escalade :( I have never liked pick-up trucks converted to a so-called luxury SUV. Most if not all USA large SUV's are done this way. The Escalade is nothing more than a GMC truck modified for a market that is fading quickly. The dash display is boring and I for one could not stand to stare at it very long. The interior is bland and lacks any feel or generates any kind of enthusiam for the car. I quote the 11/11/05 Detroit Free Press: "But whether the buzz (about the new Escalade) will be enough to overcome challenges facing large SUVs remains to be seen. Last month alone, Escalade sales were down 49 percent and are down 13.2 percent for the year, according to Autodata Corp." Other than that I have no feelings one way or the other....

Well your belief is confirmed.... not standard, but im sure they will all have these. ACF: "Larger standard and available wheels, including standard 18-inch wheels and available chrome 22-inch wheels, are tailored to fit the wheel openings. This precise wheel-to-body relationship – enabled by a wider track – gives Escalade a more athletic presence and lowered stance. " Next step 26" - 28" rims, lokks like there is plenty of room in the wheel wells.
