Damn, they should've made this a proper coupe. I hate that ugly ass rear. But for what it's worth, at least my mum thinks it's cute.

looks like I'm one of the very few people who liked the rear of the SC

It seems like the "new" one is also getting new rear lights, could be a game MB is playing to irritate journalists, but i doubt it.
From what i see here, the car is getting horizontal rear lights that are devided by the boot's shut line, I also can see a mould that could contain the rest of the white stripe inr the middle of the rear light.

I hope you're right. But I think the only coupe MB is planning now is the CLK redux.

Yes the CLC surely will have B-Class like rear lights.
I've never found the SC ugly, but quite good-looking. To find an ugly car, I generally go to BMW and have a look at a 1-Series, that is ugly.
The SC was maybe not the absolute beauty, but compared to Compact and 1-Series it is fabulous-looking.

The Audi A3 is by far the more attractive-looking of these three. But the SC gives the impression of a bigger car, especially inside.

A german site says the black has sportpackage, maybe CLC will get two different front grills like C-class?

This is more like it! Now that rear is looks good! Too bad that this is a photoshop but I am hoping the real thing will look like this. At least give the car some "new aspects".

That last illustration is probably it. Not bad, but still......we'll see. They gotta make it drive much better and the interior has to be better built and technically up to date.

The tail lights look very over dimensioned in that chop.

From the spy pics, we can see that the interior is a simple facelifted W203 interior. Not bad, but then again not the best in class either.

Well between the SC, A3 and 1-Series for me the best interior is easily the SC. However it will have to survive to the new A3 and new 1-Series in few years, and it could be hard...

I can easily compete with the A3 and 1er if MB brings down the price. The car isn't as bad as some people say it is. It looks quite upscale and trendy.

You're perfectly right, the SC is a good car.
Compared to 1 and A3, it gives the impression to be in a much bigger, much more expensive car. It may not be very sporty, it is a Mercedes after all. You can travel long distances without being tired with the SC.
I also find it looked good. Not the beautiful car, but far from looking as bad as some say!

However, when the new gen 1 and A3 will be released, it may will be hard for the W203-II based CLC to compete. Untill then I find it is perfectly well, and this FL looks very very good too. If it is well priced it will be a very interesting entry-level Mercedes.

Well my sister's 1-Series interior is very plasticky but well made. I'd personally probably rank the 1-Series interior a bit above the facelifted W203 interior since the panel gaps are a bit smaller and the alignments overall look much better.

I have the M-package in my car and I haven't notice anything bad in my car, sure some few parts are plastic (for instance the "ventilation bars"* *english word(?)) but it aint much. The interior materials are just as good as Audi A3 and not worse than a C-class or a 3-series, also its better than japanese cars .

The interior is solid and the dashboard is driveroriented which I like.

I forget, but when is the reveal for this car? Isn't it like next week or something?

If you look at the last revealed pictures carefully, you will realize that rear-view mirrors are identical to SLK & CLS's facelifts ones.
