I simply dont agree with your cheap shots regarding M3 Sedan. We all know BMW can build great 4-doors, doesnt even have to be a M, the history and current 4-doors prooves that.

Who cares if you are not alone, I doubt Im alone either. Its like you use that as an excuse for your opinions. This is just another anti-bmw post from you.

The E36 M3 sedan performed and even weighed exactly as much as the E36 M3 coupe and some argue it even handled better cause of fractionally better weight distribution. And I am sure the new M3 sedan is not going to be much different.

Cheap shot, what cheap shot? I expect and outstanding M3 sedan as damn near everyone else, but that doesn't have a damn thing to do with whether or not the M3 sedan has to prove itself or not! You want to a give them the crown without putting in the work, sorry that screams bias. Your precious M3 coupe out performed the C55 by the skin of it's teeth your after year, AS IT SHOULD OF, it weights less and offers less comfort! O by the way, the RS4 represents the new standard until proven otherwise ok!? Until then facts not in evidence!

C32 existed when M3 E46 were developed, C55 came 4 years after and BMw didnt need to update the M3 E46, it was already a good a car. M3 E46 has stayed the same. As said before everyone know bmw can build great 4-doors already. Nothing needs to be prooved and whatever bmw does you eill continue your anti-bmw propaganda.

You don't have a leg to stand on in this one Just_Me! BMW hasn't offered a M3 sedan for quite sometime now, you want to award them top billing because of the M5's accomplishments, sorry friend I can't agree with that. You can turn the whole thing into "anti-BMW propaganda" if it floats your boat! BMW's 3-Series sedan is the newcomber so it's only right that it earns it's rep don't ya think?

so the RS4 is the benchmark to beat..

not that i dont belive the M3 wont beat it.. but lets wait and see.. if it does..and how .. and where

here our opinions differ. I have seen what bmw can do with 4-doors, if you havent seen it, then nothing I can do. And we seen what BMW can to with a 4-door M3, hint M3 E36 and 4-doors M5's. And now there is also a brand new M5 Touring and I havent read that anyone is disappointed with the Touring.
No doubt in my mind that BMW can build another amazing M3.

still carreviews tell us that M3 E46 is more rewarding and involving to drive than the Rs4. Here Audi hasnt beaten bmw yet.
Even though RS4 is a better overall car, there are areas where M3 E46 still has the edge.

Intresting note, an italian carmag tested Rs4 without its famous R-tires against a M3 E46, guess what car had the best laptime.

^well it will never beat BMW there..its BMW carachter..
i can say the same ..the RS4 doesent beat the C55 on comfort.. but thats a MB charecter..

so Audi doesent need to do it the BMW or MB way to be gr8..
its gr8 in its own way.. and as a whole..like you admitted its a better car..
and hence it is the benchmark today..

a guy I know he owns both a RS4 V8 and a M5 E60, he thinks the M5 is more fun to drive and at the same time more comfortable He is very curious about the new M3.

I drive the RS4 alot.. and i feel the 335 is more fun to drive..so im sure he is telling the truth..

yeah BMW does fun to drive better than any other german ( not porsche obviously) ..
thats their game.. aint to point in denying that..
But that game doesent fly in all segments.. sometimes BMW belive that..

But for this segment .. BMW´s character..and fun to driveness works like a charm.. this is the segment for stuff like that..
This and the supercar segment..wich they sadly dont want to participate in..

I agree, those things aren't the only important ones, there's more to that. I'd only say that i care about that more than about comfort or the kick-@$$ looking interior in which by MB was always better than by BMW.

he used to own a E55 AMG but he havent said anything about the upcoming C63

Erm, no... I expect the M3 Sedan to have the best-looking rear. Strange huh? I anticipate that the rear light cluster will have same-colour indicator and reverse light treatment and this will make a huge difference in the aesthetic appeal of the rear. (You know I'm the only person in the world that likes the E90's tail-lights?!? )

I agree. The rear is pure art work. Gotta love the pipes, the sexy character lines and forward tilted tail light. Extremely well designed.
