Re: Best looking Veyron ever?

According to a guy who lives in Dubai, the guy who owns that red and white Veyron also owns the yellow Zonda F posted earlier in this thread; as well as a white SLR.

Here's a picture the guy took... (all three belong to the same guy)

Re: Best looking Veyron ever?

Nah, I'm over it now, the novelty's worn off. That Veyron looks like the fire-chief's rapid response vehicle. Not a good colour combo for a hypercar imo.

BUT

I want to ask, isn't it just a little to art-deco, a little too retro? It's almost that it's at odds with the car's hyper abilities coming across as more of an art-form than a mechanical implement? Perhaps that is exactly what the appeal of the Veyron is and I've missed it over all these years?

Still, call me a traditionalist, but a hypercar needs to look really, really fast (like that Zonda does) and somehow the Veyron is a little too much contradiction for my pea brain.

Doesn't stop me from deeply admiring it though...

I agree.
But beyond the bling factor some actually bother for a thing called aerodynamics.

It's not like I find the Veyron to be an ugly car but in a traditional sense it looks like a typical super sports car, i.e Big wing and very designed "in your face" exterior.

In terms of looks I associate the Veyron with ultra high speed trains while the Zonda, CGT, Enzo, and SLR look like jet fighter.

There a very good reason for the big wing and jet fighter look. Namely aerodynamics, the balance drag and down-force.

The AWD might be nice, and movable rear wing, but the Veyron really lacks the downforce necessary to truly control and exploit its power.

LMAO!

That's how with it with the Veyron. One day you find the looks to be lukewarm and the next day you love it. It is not that combo I would choose but I does do the trick.

Re: Best looking Veyron ever?

I'm with Martin on this one. I think that the Veyron looks much, much better in darker colours (all right, that's true for just about any car out there, but still). And the Pegaso badges...

This is what you get to see if you are sitting at you local Lambo dealer wanting to place an order or deposit for a Veyron:

Some how I have the feeling that I would look very nice in brown/pearl white

Re: Bugatti Veyron Pegaso

to clear things about this bugatti pegaso its not a special version of the Bugatti and its not tuned to 1200 hp..

I have talked to the technician who is responsible of delivering every veyron around the world... He siad "The veyron in white/red has no engine modification, these are only cosmetic changes to the exterior and there is no special edition Bugatti that is called PEGASO".

These badges are sent by the owner and he wanted his car to have these logos..

Thanks..
