After the recent launch of the new 6 series Gran Coupe, AutoExpress compares the diesel version of it, the 640d, with the Mercedes-Benz CLS 350 CDI and the Porsche Panamera Diesel. All three cars are belong to the 4-door coupe class, featuring a distinctive design, that differentiates them from their 4-door sedan brothers. The diesel engines are then added to the equation, resulting in three beautiful autobahn cruisers.
The first place won the CLS due to its price bargain, with the 6GC comming second. Despite walking on a thin line between comfort and sport, as well as offering the most interior space of the trio, it’s also the most expensive. The final place was given to the Panamera due to it’s very basic standard equipment and the cost of the optional.
