The new TT-S? TT-RS? Is it the 2.5 I-5 20V from the North American spec Golf and Jetta?

| Re: News from German AMS Much lighter than RS6. Old RS6 was 1865kg , the new one could be even heavier. R8 is 1560 kg.

| Re: News from German AMS ^that it will.. and i just rememberd that it cant have RS6 HP cause that would kill the gallardo.. it will probably be faster than the RS6 with even less power..so no worries i say bring it on.. and step up the looks .. for example ditch the plastic parts on the exterior.. diffrentiate it abit fromt he ordinary R8.. heck call it the RS8 for all i car

| Re: News from German AMS I don't care if your a BMW or Mercedes fan, the game is over once the V10 520HP R8 comes out! Mercedes made a good car with the SLR, but not a great one when compared to your usual suspects, and who know's what the hell BMW's doing these days! It's bad enough they don't have a Super coupe to play with the R8, but now they f!ck up the M3!? Good going BMW , good thing ya still got your base!![]() base=people who stand by your every move no matter how stupid it is. ![]() |

Their's no changing philosophy because you dropped the ball! Mercedes isn't gonna get a pass if they don't make there C63 more engaging, and I'd be damned to give the driver involvement sh!t BMW fanatics talk a pass when they come up short. ![]()

I just think people are overreacting way in the same way they overreacted 15 years ago with the M3 E36.

| Re: News from German AMS Richboy plese stop using the "F" word. BMW did nothing with the M3 , it's just that it's more refined and integrated product than before.

I'm happy the new M3's more refined then before, my only problem is that the C55 was already refined and on the M3's heels performance wise. Now that occupant comfort is a concern with the new M3, BMW may not able to mesh the two together and produce a superior car! ![]()

| Re: News from German AMS Richboy, you will be proven very wrong about the M3 in a short while, when the real tests and owners come around. Anyways, let's keep this on topic about the Audi numbers please. I think the 520 hp NA V10 in the R8 will be quite brilliant indeed. It will kill off most of the competition, and will directly target cars with 100+ hp more, like the SLR 722....and beating it on a track will be done with a soldier who lost an arm in Iraq

| Re: News from German AMS For sure, the SLR is an epic car - mountains of HP, nice styling ext. But the R8 is a completely new breed of super car in my opinion!! On all the track tests I red it was given top marks for handling and performance while remaining a very usable everyday driver - that in it self is something not many supercars can compete with. Top marks to Audi, they are now leading the pack and by the looks of it .... the others are finding it hard to follow!!!? |

| Re: News from German AMS I'm surprised the S4 is going back to 6 cylinder power, I'm sure in the American market this won't go done well. It looks as if the new RS4 will go crazy on power, if it needs a bi-turbo, although RS has always given huge power outputs. Good to see the TT is getting the power it always deserved, I would love it if Audi made an RS version! |
