  |  Siko & Dad will test drive an AM V8 Vantage Roadster My dad got invited to an Aston Martin test drive... I will be attending as well!  We don't really know how he got selected, but we're not complaining! It's a 30 minute test drive (but not just us, for the whole group!), next thursday. We'll try to take lots of pictures!

| Re: Siko & Dad will test drive an AM V8 Vantage Roadster OK, so the event was yesterday. Basically it was a personal 30 minute test drive, yourself accompanied by an AM rep. They had a few cars available, mostly coupes with a couple of roadsters. Based on the availability upon our arrival... * Dad got the Vantage Roadster with manual tranny * I got a the Vantage Coupe with Sportshift (clutch-less manual à la SMG/DSG) I will post my review a little later. Below are some pics we took. Unfortunately we didn't take pictures on the interiors since they were locked. I suppose we could have taken pictures when it was our turn to drive, but that would cut-in our timed test drive  Although we took more pics inside the dealership while waiting (those will be posted later).

I was lucky by choosing convertible, first – great weather, second – I had manual transmission so I had dream ride of my life. Car was working extremely well. The seats were very comfortable. Perfect handling, great acceleration, no complains for breaking and I could hear marvellous sound of the engine every time I press accelerator. My verdict is: perfect car with manual transmission.
