This looks more like A5 avant...no. I hope they know that the A4 isn't going to be a A5 knock-off. jeez.

I'm afraid it will. In the picture below the outline of the front is visible and from what I can see it seem like the new A4 is going to more or less have the same front as the A5. That is a bit dissapointingg but at the same time understandable since a "fresher" A4 would have a negative impact on the A5. Since coupes are all about appearence, a coupe is never supposed to look less "new" than the sedan.

Why would Audi destroy the identity of the A5 and use the same or very similar front end styling on the A4 as well? BMW has been trying hard to differentiate the coupe and the sedan version of the 3 series and now Audi seems to be doing the exact opposite.

Man if you're right than.... WT-F is AUDI thinking? If they're going to make the A4 look the same as the A5 but with 2 more doors then WT-F is the point of the A5 in the first place? Why not just call it the A4 coupe? Seriously, that's just idiotic. AUDI were finally changing their ways and adding differentiation between their designs but it seems that didn't last very long and they're back to being lazy. Good job AUDI

Guys relax. A4 won't have the same front with A5.

BMW's example doesn't fit in Audi's case. Most of the times trying hard to make models different can lead to underwhelming results.

You can say what ya want, this thing is sick as hell! Us Audi fans would love this to be the next A/S/RS4!!

Seriously, i think you're wrong 'cause imo, models differentiation is what makes BMW cars even more special when compared to current competition between them and Audi & MB.

Some may not like (read: hate) the design of current BMWs and i can live with that, np, but we all know that the way BMW is heading pays well. Results and numbers are there, we all know them and they don't lie. Obviously, there's much more under that "ugly-Bangle-desing"...

BMW is BMW and Audi is Audi. The philosophy is different. End of story - Back to the topic.
