Ok, so I know the new BMW 7er premiered yesterday in Munich, but today (Saturday) I was downtown doing some car hunting and I just happened to catch the new 7er on the road. I am going to post the best shots of the 70+ pictures I took while chasing after this baby.


Here is the first one, a 730d. Looks like I am scaring that woman inside since in a lot of pictures she keeps looking at me in a freaked out manor!










Since this thing was leaving me in the dust, I began running after the car. People looked at me as if I was running away from an old lady I just mugged! I ran about a 100 meters before I caught up to it and took these shots. The things I go through to make BMW fans happy.







Then I lost him. But as fate would have it, he turned around after he couldn't find a parking space further up Maximilianstraße and he came back! Look how menacing the 7er looks behind that Peugeot!










Now he turns right as he tries to loose spy photographer Christian Wimmer!







And again he comes bacl! God bless the lack of parking spaces! And God bless my new 18-200mm lens! Without it I wouldn't have had the reach to take these pictures!



















Here is the 2nd BMW 7-Series I spotted today. It appears to be a 750IL. Notice the number "250" on the left side of the rear windshield. Any idea what that is all about?

Sorry for the crap pictures of the 750IL. I was programming my camera when I by chance heard the 7er drive by! And it was also getting darker so I needed a higher shutter speed to compensate.

Wow! Long wheel base looks very gangsta!

I really can't get used to this car, it's great but I don't know what to think of it! Shall wait till Ive seen it irl at the showroom before I make anymore decisions

The first time I am seeing the F02 in Shadowline trim...looks great.
It seems that even with shadowline, it still has the chrome strip between the rear lights

this pic just prooves the huge presence of the car, that can't be shown on those official studio photos...

Bravo, Wimmer! Awesome pics. That new camera (or was it only lens) take beautiful pics. Looks pretty damn good with that zoom on in some of the pics!!!

Actually my camera is pretty "basic" for a DSLR. It's an entry-level Nikon D40 but it is really the lens which influences the picture quality for the most part. Just got a new 18-200mm lens with a lot of rach. My old 18-55mm lens is a joke in comparison!

Very classy, understated and also elegant. I suspect that with different rims the sporty character of the car can be brought across more directly.

I really like the new 7-Series. It looks awesome.
