^^I want to know how much they undercut the base price of the 750. I mean, it's not like they brought out a brand new engine, it's still the 35i engine.

^ I want to know why it has a 6-speed and not an 8-speed like the new 5er, 5er GT and 760i

Most likely cost related than anything else. Plus, they have the 6-speed dialed in with the 35i engines, so it won't require as much R&D as they would have to put in by trying to get it right with the 8-speed.

I'm proud to tell you that this morning I ordered both 750xi and X6 3.5d

Photos of X6 are coming soon (I'm leaving for Belgrade tomorrow morning where the car is waiting for me) but you'll have to be a bit patient concerning the 7 Series (March)...

Yeah, you're right. I love bright interios as well. And one hell of a combination would be black leather and the Individual Amarone wood. Sadly, it looks like it isn't available at the newer models anymore!

Does anyone have any idea when bmw will introduce the 8 speed auto box in the 750i/li? The 760i/li, activehybrid 7, x5LCI, 2011 x6, 5er GT & F10 5er all have it so it seems strange that the 750i/li is still fitted with the old 6 speed auto! I'm in the market for a brand new 750li but I'm hesitant to buy one now with the 6 speed only to have them introduce the 8 speed a few months down the road!! Scott, Eni, any info??

The 8 Speed gearbox will come september 2010.
